Mr & Mrs Savill, Hornchurch

In October 2016, Mr & Mrs Savill asked us to carry out a HomeBuyer Report on the property they were hoping to buy in Hornchurch, Havering. They had already had their offer accepted and were approaching their date of exchange when it was suggested that they get a survey to check for hidden problems with the property, so they contacted Daily Move.

Mr Mills, Shottenden

Mr Mills was in the process of buying a new home just outside of Canterbury, Kent, when he contacted us in December 2016. He had found the perfect property for his investment – a Grade II listed manor with a large barn conversion, both finished to an excellent contemporary standard.

Mr Childs, Dartford

Home survey

In February 2017, Mr Childs found out from his solicitor at short notice that, in order to buy his new home in Dartford, Kent, he would need to provide a redemption figure before repaying the Help to Buy loan he had with Target HCA. As he was almost at the point of exchanging contracts, Mr Childs asked us to carry out a valuation as soon as we could, so that his sale didn’t fall through.

Ms Doan, Peckham

In October 2017, Daily Move worked with Ms Doan, who was negotiating the purchase of her 2-bedroom flat in Peckham, London. Having enjoyed her home for several years, Ms Doan was applying under the ‘Right to Buy’ scheme to purchase the ground-floor flat outright.

In May of last year, we assisted Mr Beak in buying an investment property near Didcot, Oxfordshire. He was hoping to make a cash purchase of a 3-bedroom bungalow, but it was unclear as to how much repair work was going to be required to bring the building to a re-saleable condition.
